The Black Powder Room

Last year, one of my goals was to renovate my main floor powder room. I knew I wanted to make it striking because, well, everyone sees it! What you do with the details really makes or breaks a home, right? I spent hours upon hours searching for the right products, products that you couldn't just get anywhere. In the future, I'll go more in depth into my projects (the challenges, the DIYs, and more) but for now, I'll share the products and links to the websites I used to make this renovation a reality.

Matte Black Wall Paint in "Caviar"

I used matte paint (flat) but recommend a satin finish. GORGEOUS paint color that doesn't look flat, grey, or purple.

The Wall Mounted Faucet

Beautiful, clean lines and easy to use. I love the simplicity of the design.

The Art Deco Light Fixture

This light fixture was just what I needed to make a statement. Definitely worth the price. The color is a stunning brass finish. Used with the right bulbs, you can really wow your guests without it taking up too much space. Perfect for small bathrooms.

Hexagonal Mirror

Funny story, this was a back up mirror, but I looove it. (I had the same mirror delivered to me broken...twice.) The finish is like an applied gold leaf, so it does have some texture to it.

Large Vessel Sink

I love how wide and deep this sink is. The shiny white really pops against the matte black walls in the powder room. I also love how the curves work with the other sharp angles in the room. It comes with a chrome drain, but I got a brass drain to match the hardware in the rest of the powder room.

Hearth & Hand Towels

These towels add a touch of hominess to a darker space. I love them and the way they feel on my hands!

Hearth & Hand Bath Rug

So soft and feels thick under your feet. The touch of beige is perfect.

Brass Toilet Paper Holder with Shelf

The shelf on this holder is so classy and handy - it also serves as a way to hide the toilet paper from above, which makes the bathroom feel more sophisticated. Sturdy and gorgeous finish.

Decorative Plants

There are a myriad of faux decorative plants at Target. I've linked to all of them so you can choose a plant that reflects your personal style. I'll definitely be swapping out mine from time to time to freshen up the space.

Glass Wall Shelf with Towel Bar

This SHELF! It's one of the coolest things. Thick, quality glass and sturdy brass hardware, it is the jewelry of the bathroom. Plus, I love its multi-functionality.

Brass Cabinet Hardware

I was going to use longer cabinet handles before I came across these. They're just so chunky and glamorous, I had to get them!

That's it! Be sure to check out my Instagram post with all the photos from this remodel with before pictures, and follow for more home projects.
